Hi, I'm Cynthia. I am a shop owner on multiple platforms with 20+ years of experience. I do everything within my power, including packing with great care and shipping fully insured, to get your "thing of beauty" to you safely. I have recently moved to the mountains of eastern Tennessee where I find my treasures and offer them to you, the beholder. I hope you will find your "thing of beauty" here. I was raised in a home where bone china, silver and fine crystal were both used and appreciated. This translated into a love of antiques and handmade items of similar quality. I love the journey that leads me to these beautiful things and I hope you will enjoy my "finds" as much as I have enjoyed finding them. OOAK Half Apron Vintage Kitchen Large Tan / Brown with Applied Handkerchief Pocket & Rick Rack Hem
One of a kind vintage estate item from the home of a seamstress. I have more of her creations I will be listing from this estate, see the last photo for some of her aprons. This is a little deeper brown than it appears in the photos, it was difficult to photograph. The handkerchief is bright yellow & orange. 1950s style, this is older than some of the others I have listed but I suspect it is more recently made than that. Being handmade this has no label but the fabric feels like 100% cotton but a good quality, it does not wrinkle easily. Just like grandma used to wear! Condition: Very good. There is one small area along the waistband where the top stitching has come undone. This is an easy fix by machine or hand. I examined it carefully in natural light and I do not see any stains/marks. The fabric feels crisp, but it has been laundered and imo is slightly faded.
