Robert Eickholt 2004 Art Glass Fountain Paperweight Featuring Gorgeous Controlled Bubbles

A heavy blown-glass fountain paperweight in clear crystal, signed and dated Robert Eickholt 2004 on the base. The interior holds a suspended blue-and-pale-gold form resembling a fountain spray, ringed by rising columns of controlled air bubbles that catch and refract light as the piece is turned. The upper globe carries an opalescent blue cast that shifts toward warm yellow through the lower mass, with a mushroom-cap central element anchored on a clear stem. The controlled-bubble suspension technique — precisely spaced air pockets set into the clear matrix — is a hallmark of studio art-glass work, requiring the maker to pierce and reseal the gather at measured intervals before encasing it. The result reads as a frozen fountain in the round, with no single "front" and full effect from every angle. A weighted desk object at just over two pounds.

CONDITION Very Good; no chips, cracks. Signature and date are legible on the underside. light scuffing to the base consistent with shelf and desk use
