S. Fielding & Co Royal Oxford Vase Antique Hand Painted Gilded
This is one in the line of The 'Royals' which dates back to well over 100 years old - estimated about 120- 133 or so years old. This is one of the early pieces of S.F & Co before being acquired by Crown Devon around year 1913 This piece also shows "L I" Which I believe references the painter's Initials. Beautiful vase with hand painted flowers on front and back all outlined in Gold. Vase is gilded throughout though is worn in spots due to time. Excellent Antique Condition - There are no chips, no breaks etc. There is crazing and worn gilding throughout - which is to be expected with it's age and only adds to the overall charm and rich history of this piece.
