Vintage COPPER STAMP approx. 6”x6” ARTISAN Fabric BLOCK. Condition is Used. Some bent prongs, see pictures. Price reflect damage. Tjaps have been used for over a century in the traditional Indonesian art of batik. Batik involves creating patterns on fabric by applying wax to areas that are to resist dye. Tjaps are dipped in hot wax and then stamped onto cloth, creating intricate designs.
