This is a vintage Toquay Watcombe Motto Ware small pottery trinket dish with a cottage scene on one side and an inspirational quote on the other. The quote says Put a stout hear to a steep hill. Made in England. Measures approximately 1" deep x 3" across. There is a tiny flaw on the upper edge as shown in pictures. No other chips or cracks.
