Villeroy & Boch Botanica Small Dish

A small, cylindrical dish made of creamy white porcelain. The exterior is decorated with a vibrant floral pattern of yellow and orange flowers with green leaves. The top rim has a thin green band. The bottom is stamped with the blue Villeroy & Boch mark, which includes the words "ANCIENNE MANUFACTURE IMPERIALE ET ROYALE FONDEE EN 1767" and "MADE IN LUXEMBOURG." The dish measures approximately 2.5 inches in height and 3.5 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The Botanica pattern is believed to be from the 1960s-70s. These small dishes were often used as open salt cellars or catch-all dishes.
