Vintage (1960s) Stangl Pottery Robin’s Egg Blue Scallop Bowl, #3283-9

This vintage Stangl pottery bowl features a beautiful Robin's egg blue bowl with a low scallop design. The bowl is 9.25 inches in width and 3.25 inches in height, with a weight of 1 pound and 12.4 ounces. It is an original mid-century modern piece from the Stangl Company in New Jersey, manufactured between 1960 and 1969. The bowl has an impressed backstamp with number 3283-9, Stangl, USA. It is perfect for all occasions, can be used in the kitchen as serveware or as a planter. The bowl is in very good used condition. There are no chips; there is one hairline crack on the outside of the base that does not go through the bowl to the inside (see close up picture). Otherwise, there are normal marks from the original production process that would have been there the day it was made.
