Vintage Caithness Scotland 'Flower In The Rain' Paperweight c.1970s Rare Purple Flower Version

The Caithness "Flower in the Rain" paperweight is a highly collectible piece of Scottish studio art glass originally designed by Jack Allan in 1974. This vintage 1970s design is famous for its intricate lampwork flower and green leaves centered within a dome of clear glass, encircled by a stunning "bullicante" field of controlled, geometrically spaced air bubbles that mimic falling raindrops.

While the "Flower in the Rain" pattern was produced in a few colorways (such as yellow, pink, and blue), the version featuring a purple ground or purple petals is heavily sought after by collectors for its striking depth and relative rarity.
