Vintage L.E. Smith Moon & Stars Open Compote, Green, 9-Pt. Crimp, Pedestal, 5.7"

This vintage L.E. Smith Moon & Stars Open Compote in green is a charming candy dish with a ruffled (crimped) edge and a pedestal base, measuring 5.7 inches in height and 4.1 inches in width. Made of pressed glass, this original piece features the iconic Moon and Stars pattern boldly embossed. Created in Jeannette, Pennsylvania in the 1970s, this lovely compote is substantial, weighing over 1 pound. It will make a great display piece and functional dish. The open compote is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
