Up for grabs is a gorgeous, matching set of four (4) mid-century modern ceramic flat tumblers in the highly collectible "Gingham" pattern by Vernonware (Vernon Kilns). Manufactured in California, USA, during the late 1940s to 1950s, this iconic line captures the warm, welcoming aesthetic of mid-century American kitchenware.Each earthenware tumbler features a hand-painted yellow wash base layered with intersecting bands of forest green and rust-brown plaid lines. Because these were entirely painted by hand before firing, every single cup features its own subtle, charming variations in line work and spacing! Condition Profile Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, flea bites, or repairs.The interior and exterior glazes remain highly reflective, smooth, and free of heavy crazing (fine glaze cracking).
