This listing is for this beautiful vintage Mexican hand-blown art glass seal (or sea lion) figurine. This striking piece features an upright, graceful posture, expertly sculpted with fine ribbed texture on the front flippers and a delicate split tail. The glass has a wonderful organic quality, boasting a subtle light green/aquamarine tint characteristic of traditional Mexican recycled glass artisan methods. He is approximately 7” in height, 6.5” in length, by 4.5 in width.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Note on Craftsmanship: The base features a raw, unpolished, and textured pontil scar. This is a natural result of the traditional hand-blowing process where the piece was detached from the blowrod and is an important hallmark confirming its authentic, non-machined artisan origin.

A gorgeous piece of coastal ocean decor, perfect as a suncatcher on a windowsill, a desk paperweight, or an addition to a vintage art glass collection. Made in Mexico, this piece reflects the rich cultural heritage of Mexican artistry and design, perfect for collectors interested in Latin American pottery and decorative items.
