Vintage Mikasa (Japan) Fine Ivory Cups & Saucers, "Margaux" D1006, Set of 4 MINT

These vintage Mikasa (Japan) Fine Ivory Cups & Saucers feature their beautiful Margaux pattern, with two different sets of wildflowers on each side of the cup and combined on the saucers. The base glaze is a warm ivory; the florals are orange, purple, yellow, soft greens, white, and wheat-colored. This is a set of 4 matching cups and saucers. Besides the wildflowers, the cups have an embossed swirl design and a basketweave border around the rims. The saucers have the same embossed patterns emanating from the center. Made of porcelain in a glossy finish, the cups have a capacity of 8 ounces and were manufactured in Japan in the mid-1980s. (Mikasa made this pattern from 1979-1988.) The set can be used for coffee or tea. Each piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
