Vintage Paragon Cup & Saucer Set Mint Green Roses,Gold trim Royal Double Warrant

This is a vintage Teacup and Saucer set by Paragon.

It features the Royal Double Warrant for H.M. The Queen and H.M. Queen Mary, which dates this piece roughly around 1933-1952

It is vintage bone china with gold gilding.

The pattern I believe is Damask Rose or Cabbage Rose

My understanding is that Paragon was taken over by Royal Albert. Many of the patterns under Royal Albert were originally Paragon's.

Damask Rose seems to be one of these designs. It is one of the most popular and romantic patterns.

The tea cup has a scalloped edge- trimmed in gold and the handle is a unique design.

Bottom is back stamped.

The hand written numbers A194/8 in reddish brown are from the factory -to track colorways and batch decorators.

This is being sold as used- though I really wonder if it was. Family owned several as a collection. No chips cracks or crazing. There does not appear to have any gold trim missing, but please refer to photos. non smoking home Non pet home
