Vintage Pewter Mermaid Goblet 5"

This is a vintage mid-century novelty wine goblet featuring a clear glass bowl mounted on a sculpted metal stem. The stem is detailed in the shape of a classic mermaid rising from a circular base, grasping her long hair and curved tail to form the structural support. Standing at approximately 5 inches tall, its compact dimensions and smaller capacity make it ideally proportioned as a port, sherry, or dessert wine cordial rather than a standard modern water goblet. The underside of the base shows a prominent rough crater indentation, which is a manufacturing casting mark or sprue breakout point left behind after the molten metal cooled in its mold.
