Vintage Rectangular Terracotta Herb/ Flower Pot – Made in Portugal – Hand Painted Yellow Floral Design x 10” L x 4.5”W

This charming hand-painted ceramic planter, masterfully crafted in Portugal, features a timeless rectangular silhouette perfect for a windowsill or tabletop. The piece is defined by a clean, white-glazed body with hand painted yellow five-petal flowers. Each bloom is anchored by soft, sage-green stems and delicate leaves, showcasing the unique brushstrokes of an individual artisan. A signature horizontal band in ocean blue and grassy green wraps around the upper rim, providing a vibrant contrast to the white base. The very top edge reveals a glimpse of the classic terracotta clay, adding an earthy, rustic touch to the refined glaze. Traditional Style: This planter exemplifies the world-renowned "Alcobaça" style of Portuguese pottery, known for its bright colors and nature-inspired themes. Condition: Slight discoloration inside the planter and glaze on the top terracotta edge, minor but worth noting. See last three pictures for examples. No other condition issues noted.
