After a big move from Southern New Jersey to Springfield, Tennessee, I started visiting local antique stores and attending estate sales in attempt to learn more about my new city and state. Vintage Rusterholtz Hand Thrown Tan/Blue Pottery Jug Oil Lamp w/Glass Chimney (c) 1986
This vintage Rusterholtz hand thrown pottery jug oil lamp is a beautiful addition to any home decor. The blue designs on the tan background of this large jug oil lamp is accentuated by the beautiful inscription of Proverbs 17:17 “a friend loveths at all times”. The beautiful inscription is expertly written across the middle of this unique jug oil lamp and then a glossy glaze was added to give this piece a beautiful finish. This lamp was expertly hand crafted by the potter “Rusterholtz” back in 1986, as stated on the bottom of the lamp where you’ll find his potters mark. This is a large lamp measuring 9.5” inches tall without the hurricane/chimney shade and 17” inches tall with the glass hurricane/chimney shade. This Rusterholtz Hand Thrown Tan/Blue Pottery Jug Oil Lamp w/Glass Chimney (c) 1986, is in excellent pre-owned condition, with NO chips, cracks or repairs.
