Vintage Signed ISABEL BLOOM Angel Boy Girl Taper Candle FIGURAL SCULPTURE SET • Set includes the boy & girl, Angel, figural taper candle holder sculptures, as shown in photos • Cement, clay, dyed reddish brown • Mold & hand formed, tooled, sculpted • Hand painted, glazed, decorated • Light sea green, white chalk, cement powder glaze • Both pieces hold a small, taper candle stick - Girl, holding a basket - Boy, clasping hands • Black script on base of Boy: - "Isabel Bloom 99 ®" • Black script on base of Girl: - "Isabel Bloom, ® ©, 2002" • Small, incised initials on base of girl: - "NW" • Retired, discontinued ~~ ADDITIONAL INFO ~~ • Isabel Bloom (1908–2001) was an Iowa artist best known for her whimsical, affordable concrete sculptures of children, animals, and families • Studying under Grant Wood at the Stone City Art Colony, she pioneered techniques using wet cement to create durable, Midwestern-style garden and home art that democratized sculpture ** MEASUREMENTS ** • Total weight of all items: 2 lb • Boy ~ 3½" x 2¼" x 4¾" • Girl ~ 3½" x 2¾" x 5½" ** Please select the shipping carrier that you prefer, as USPS tends to be far more expensive than other providers in regards to boxes greater than 12" x 12" x 12".
