Vintage Stephen Dale Edwards Hand Blown Red Opalescent Bowl Pilchuck Glass 1979

Northwest artist Stephen Dale Edwards creates paintings and figurative sculptures in glass, wood, and metal. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arta and Crafts in Oakland, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa. He studied glassblowing at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle and Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Northwestern Washington. This is red opalescent bowl this piece is from Bonnie Miller's art glass collection from Puyallup, WA. She wrote a book called "Out of the Fire" of glass artists working in Seattle in the 1980 - 1990's. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: 5” tall sitting on flat surface 5" diameter at the top area 6.5" diameter at the widest area PRE-OWNED - Item is in great pre-owned condition showing no chips, cracks or repairs.
