VTG 14 Piece Mexican Christmas Nativity Manger Tonala Pottery Hand Painted

This is a 14 piece Vintage Mexican Tonala Nativity Set. The set includes: Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, Angel, Three Wise Men, Boy and Girl Shepherd Children, 3 lambs, 1 Cow, 1 Donkey. This set is a wonderful example of Mexican Folk Art- which is made from clay and is always hand painted. It is similar to Tonal Art. Many figurines are decorated with a bird, owl, rabbit etc. Please see photos. The manger is also included. It is lined in dried moss. This nativity is being sold as used. it was displayed for several years. There are no breaks, chips or cracks in clay. Non smoking home Non pet home.
