Vtg. ('80) Ruth Dryer Studio Pottery Pitcher/Creamer, Red Clay, Chocolate Brown

Ruth Dryer (1927-2019) was a well-known potter in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This red clay pitcher or large creamer is a piece she made in 1980 and features a traditional style in a rich chocolate brown glaze. Made in Strasburg, Virginia, the 20 oz pitcher has a glossy finish. It is a substantial piece, weighing just under 1 pound. This is a lovely example artisanal craftsmanship and would make an excellent addition to your home.

The pitcher is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
