The Thrifting Teacher (Elsie)

@thethriftingteacher

It all began with me watching thrifting videos and reconnecting with the now vintage things my mother loved. One day, I said to myself: "You can do this. You have a good eye and you can absolutely become a reseller." So here I am, a former teacher, a thrifter and a reseller with an awesome retirement plan. Much love!

Vtg Mario Jason Signed Brass Copper Sailboat Sculpture 12" Onyx Base MCM Nautical

Mario Jason was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1938 and immigrated to Los Angeles, California, in 1962. In 1972, he established his own studio to design and produce his famous torch-cut mid-century modern metal giftware, including the iconic wire and sheet brass sailboats mounted to onyx bases. By 1983, he expanded his artistic reach by building a specialized bronze foundry, dedicating the rest of his career to award-winning sculptures capturing human anatomy and dancers in motion.
