This piece, crafted in the 1990s, exhibits a glossy finish and a round shape and ruffled rim, measuring 11.5 inches in diameter and standing 10.5 inches tall. The basket's design features an embossed fruit motif on the bottom. This decorative basket boasts a robust build, made from pressed glass and weighing in at a solid 3 pounds and 14.7 ounces. It has a glassmaker's mark on the handles (DB), ensuring authenticity and a connection to its artisanal origins. The applied handle and footed base have the amberina coloring, while the basket is a rich ruby red. The basket is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. Please note the production mark on the handle where the glass was released with some tiny bubbles (see close up).
