Antique EAPG U.S. Glass (Pittsburgh) Lady's Slipper, Ruby Stain, "Mother 1898"

This antique U.S. Glass Lady's Slipper features a beautiful ruby stain and is inscribed with "Mother 1898." Handmade in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this Victorian-era piece is in remarkable condition. The U.S. Glass Company opened in 1891 and introduced these slippers as novelty items. It has a beautiful ruby stain over clear glass, with the ornate "Mother" and date etched to the clear glass. The slipper measures 4.5 inches in length, 2.5 inches in height, and 1.3 inches in width. It has a nice weight for its size. The slipper is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks and the ruby stain is in great condition. If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping to save postage cost.
