Early Japanese Porcelain Hand-Painted Powder Jar

Early Japanese Porcelain Hand-Painted Powder Jar is 4 1/4" wide x 2 1/4" tall. This is a beautiful, early porcelain piece hand-painted with phoenix birds and foliage on a pink and yellow background. I believe it is mid to late 1800's. The base has a chip on the bottom. The top has been broken and repaired and still has two large chips underneath. It is stunning, even in this condition.
