Striking unsigned hand-blown art glass vessel with an organic gourd/pear-shaped form and sculptural applied glass around the opening.

The upper portion is translucent aqua/sea-green glass, while the lower body features beautiful swirling iridescent color in shades of plum, purple, blue, green, copper and gold. The colors shift beautifully depending on the angle and lighting.

The irregular sculpted rim and applied glass details give the piece a wonderful free-form studio glass appearance. A rough pontil scar is visible on the underside, consistent with hand-blown construction.
