Hand-Painted Terracotta Round Trinket box with Lid

A round, red clay container with a matching lid hand-painted with a stylized landscape scene in abstract forms, featuring a figure wearing a large hat. This style is often associated with folk art or modern studio pottery from Latin America, particularly Mexico or regions with a strong tradition of terracotta craftsmanship. The inside of the container and the bottom of the lid are unglazed terracotta. There is no maker's mark or signature on the bottom. Approx. size: 3.25" wide x 2" tall.
