Moon Day Studio Pottery Basket with Handles, Sky Blue & Olive Green, 6", Signed

This Moon Day Studio Pottery Basket with Handles in sky blue and olive green is a beautifully handmade piece of stoneware originating from Virginia. The basket is 6" long, 5.3" wide, and 2.8" tall, weighing one pound. It has a base glaze of a vibrant sky blue that peeks through an olive green glaze overlay. The handles arch over a cutout in the body of the basket and are hand-sculpted. It is signed "Moon Day Pottery" on the underside. The basket could be used in multiple ways: to hold small items such as jewelry or condiments, as a basket to hold flowers or potpourri, or as a valet on a dresser. This is a nice handmade piece to add to your home.

The basket is in excellent condition. There are some indentations around the underside rim that are smooth, so I believe they come from the time of creation. (Please see last two pictures.)
