Potter's Mark 1997 "Jesus is the Light of the World" Candle Holder, Salt Glaze

This original stoneware, salt glaze piece from The Potter's Mark features the script of "Jesus is the Light of the World" around its center in blue. The piece was originally made in 1997 to be an oil lamp. (It still could be used that way with a lamp insert.) It can also be used as a candle holder for thick taper candles. It is a beautifully handmade piece of art pottery from Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania. The Potter's Mark existed from 1984-2004 and was founded by artist David Rusterholtz. This piece is stamped with their information, ensuring that this original piece is of high quality and authenticity. The candle holder/oil lamp base is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear. Dimensions: Height - 6 inches Width - 5.2inches Diameter of Opening - 1.2 inch Length - 7.2 inches
