Vintage MCM Royal Crown (Japan) Bon Bon Dish, "Chantilly Rose", Painted P. Kent
This vintage Royal Crown Bon Bon Dish in the "Chantilly Rose" pattern was hand-painted and signed by artist P. Kent. It is a beautiful piece of mid-century modern porcelain from Japan. It has an abstract overall shape, glossy finish, and gold gilt details. It features transfer roses in varying shades of pink along with hand-painted green and blue accent colors and ornate hand-painted gold scrolling around the entire piece, including the rim. Originally created as a bon bon dish, the piece would work well as a candy dish, a dresser piece, or a trinket dish. It was made in 1945 and measures 6.6 inches in length and 5.5 inches in width. The bon bon dish is in excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. If you purchase more than one item, I am happy to combine shipping to save postage cost.
