Vintage Miniature China Rhinoceros Painted Gold

The piece appears to be the type made in Japan but is not marked. It is slightly less than 2.5” tall,2 58” long, and 0.75” wide. There are no chips or cracks but a lot of paint wear. I believe the gold paint was applied after manufacturing.
