A harder-to-find 1946 Macmillan hardcover edition of Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson, beautifully illustrated by celebrated British artist Warwick Goble.
This classic historical adventure follows young David Balfour after he is betrayed by his uncle, kidnapped aboard a ship and swept into a dangerous journey through the Scottish Highlands with the unforgettable Alan Breck Stewart.

Condition: Well-worn vintage condition with considerable character. The red cloth cover shows fading, surface rubbing, scratches and discoloration. There is heavy edge and corner wear, including fraying and exposed material along portions of the spine.
Interior pages are age-toned and show noticeable moisture staining and tide marks along the lower edges, including the illustrated front matter and title page. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
